Bisse du Trient

Built in the last decade of the eighteenth century, this bisse was constructed on an old railway line used to transport ice from the Trient Glacier to the Forclaz Pass. This ice was then exported as far afield as Paris. There are explanatory educational panels explaining the social organisation and the irrigation rules along the trail.
