Also known as the Grand Bisse, it was long abandoned but was completely restored in 2012.

Itinerary
Departure
From the post office in Grimentz, descend towards the La Gougra river following the sign-posts for Grand Bisse and St Jean as far as the river. Cross the bridge and follow the right bank of the river on a steep path until you reach another bridge which you should also cross. Continue on the agricultural road to the place known as “Les Fios”.
Itinerary
Follow the bisse to St Jean d’en Haut and cross the village to rejoin the bisse, continuing as far as Mayoux. This is the most beautiful stretch of the walk as the surroundings are charmingly pastoral.
At the end of the bisse return to Mayoux by way of a steep path along the stream to the right starting at the bridge. This is the only direction not sign-posted!
