Useful information

Access to the irrigation channel (bisse) is via Chalet and Briey. Access to the Spider Bridge over the Navizence River is via the Val d’Anniviers.

The Foncouverte picnic area is very well equipped for picnics and barbecues. Tables, drinking water, restrooms, and even a children’s playground are available. However, it is essential to reserve your spot by calling 077 448 11 65. Reservations are subject to a fee based on the number of people. The facilities justify the rental.

SPIDER BRIDGE

You can organize your picnic on site; everything is set up for barbecuing. The association responsible for the bridge’s maintenance will charge a fee of CHF 5 to cross and admire the Navizence Gorge 200 meters below (free for those under 16). Spectacular, and the fee for access and bridge maintenance is more than justified.

On weekends and public holidays, as well as from July 15th to August 15th, you can watch thrill-seekers bungee jumping from the bridge.
